Many positive changes taking place in Whitlawburn and Springhall have been enabled through The National Lottery Community Fund's Our Place initiative.   Our Place is a five-year initiative which aims to empower local people and organisations to bring about a massive and lasting positive difference to their neighbourhoods.

It's all about people getting together and working to make their community a better place.

Now in Year 5, the community has worked hard from Year 1, identifying and agreeing a community vision (here), setting up working groups to create plans and submitting funding applications to The National Lottery Community Fund. 

We are delighted that a range of groups and organisations have received a share of £1.5 million Our Place funding for Whitlawburn and Springhall making local residents plans and priorities a reality!
