Healthy n Happy CDT
Working with the community to encourage food growing and skill sharing
Healthy n Happy CDT is funded through the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund and aims to increase production and consumption of local food by creating and connecting growing spaces across Cambuslang and Rutherglen.
The project also offers local residents opportunities to take part in a food education programme.
Further support will be available to help the community to replace car travel with cycling or walking and learn more about climate change and lower carbon options. Details on this can be found on the Healthy n Happy or BikeTown websites.

Resources & useful links
Alongside our community growing spaces, we want to help encourage local residents to grow and harvest food in their own private spaces.
To help with this, we are developing a tool library where local residents can borrow and lend gardening equipment and tools.
Alongside this, we can provide you with starter kits to help get you on your way to growing your own food in your local area.
